End of the Year Reflections
What was the best experience of this school year?
That would be Peterson bay. I like learning about the animals and doing the activities with my friends. It is my all-time favorite field trip.
Write about what you are most proud of accomplishing academically?
That would be my math. I like math and I learned a lot in Mrs. Moore’s math class.
What would you like to change for the next school year?
The girls should get three yurts and the boys two at Peterson bay. It was really cramped in the girl yurt this year.
Write some suggestions to improve our class; what worked, what can be improved?
I liked the fun run that we did. But we could start the timer for 30 minutes once we got out there and not before.
Evaluate your learning this year. Are you satisfied/happy with your efforts? In which areas did you feel successful and in which areas did you not accomplish your goals?
I think I learn a lot this year in math reading and writing. I like how we now do writing class now. I think I did pretty good this year academically.
If you are a 6th grader and graduating, reflect back on your time at SMCS and think about the questions above? Get ready for a lot of homework!
I’m a 5th grader that is leaving and there is no doubt in my mind that I will miss being at this school. I will try to come back to visit!

I think that this quote means you should always look to the bright side of things. If you point out the bad things in life to people then they will start noticing those things, too. The world would be a lot better place if everyone stayed positive and looked to the bright side of things.

I think that this quote means that people are mostly positive and happy when good things happen. But when bad things happen people tend to feel sad or angry. Positivity and happiness really only means something when you fight through the hard times and you still stay positive and happy despite the challenges you are facing.
