I think this quote means, that it does not matter how long life is. It matters what you do in that life time you are given. So make a difference, and live life to the fullest. You can leave a legacy.

What is your favorite book, and why?
My favorite book is Warriors The Last Hope by Erin Hunter. It is my favorite book because at the very end two cats go head to head in a battle to the death and Firestar said to Tigerstar, “I will not die till the forest is safe from you.” So Firestar killed Tigerstar, but Firestar died five seconds after when a tree fell on him and killed him. But is also really sad because Firestar has been in every book in the Warrior series, and was also my favorite charecter in all the books. The Warrior books are a series that I sugest for older kids. The books have about 300 to 500 pages in them. There are LOTS of books in the series, I’m even still reading them.

I think that this quote mean that, if you go and try to get something (honey, for an example). Then you need to be perpared for the concequences (being stung by bees). So you always need to be perpared for the concequence.
